"I think this is like our fifth or sixth time [seeing The Front Bottoms live]. I literally can't see them without my cousin, it's like our band. It's very special to us for that reason." - Jack (left), showing their matching 'Flashlight' tattoos with Catie (right)
"I like 'Backflip' cause it has a line about a tattoo on my right thigh I'll probably regret one day, so I got the knife on my right thigh. So like, that [song's] kinda important, cause it makes the tattoo make sense." - Danica
"Right now I think [my favorite Front Bottoms song] is 'Vacation Town.' They played that last time and I remember during that song I was crying, and I opened my eyes and I looked around and there was like, a dozen other people next to me screaming the lyrics also crying. It's such a nice moment." - Nora (left)
"It's such a very eye-opening experience." - Tyler
What was it about "Twin Sized Mattress" that really hooked you? "Just pure angst, like, unadulterated teenage angst and I was like yeah, I'm 14 and really into this." - Danica (right), who brought along her best friend Kennedy (left)
"I think the first time that I saw [The Front Bottoms] was before I even started listening to them. So the first time I saw them live, it was like a life-saving experience, and I think it turned me around completely, honestly. Something about 'Tattooed Tears' just hit me, seriously deeply. And yeah from that moment, it was just uphill." - Cassie (left), who has now seen The Front Bottoms "eight or nine times"
"I guess I'm not a big concert person, but for them I am. My last time seeing them live, when they came out onstage they played 'Raining' first, which wasn't like one of my favorite songs or whatever, but now it's so different because I just think of seeing them for the first time and it's really special." - Sydni (right)
"I liked the roughness of it and how original it was and the sincerity of the lyrics. My favorite song is The Beers. [My favorite line is] 'it's an aerial view from your house to my room.'" - Abby (right) | "[Mine is] 'Nothing matters the importance of nothing.' I'm excited because I haven't been to too many shows because of Covid recently. I feel like The Front Bottoms are a really raw band, like she was saying, so I think they'll be good live." - Andrew (left)
